Yesterday was my dear husbands birthday, he turned 33. Isn't that just scaringly old?Kidding aside, I gave him two canvas pictures, one coffee mug and one coffee container (yes, coffee was my theme). In the evening mom came over to wish him a happy birthday. She stayed for dinner, we had made a wonderful lasagna! I sure hope he was happy with the day even though we didn't have some huge celebration. Will have a few friends over come friday but I won't tell you what I am making for food, I will not spoil the surprise!
I know I aren't much for these shows of affection but right now I think I deserve to get a bit lovey dovey. You see, today marks the 5 year anniversary of when me and Thomas first met! Thats kind of a big step (yes yes, I know Dominic, your 12 years kicks my 5 years ass).
It's been five wonderful years, with ups and downs as any relationship. It isn't all hugs and sex you know! But the good days wins over the bad days with miles! And that is what matters. We don't celebrate today really, we got our wedding day in the summer and that is the day that is special to us. But I need to just say that I love my husband very very much, and I am lucky to have met him!
There. Now I said it. I did even manage it without making myself sick, but it was a close call! I am really not one for the:
"- I love you more!
- No, I love you more!
- Well I love you more than you can ever say!"
Sometimes I just wish to kick those sickly sweet couples. Yes, you are in love. We know. We do not really care. Keep it in the bedroom!
And on that romantic note I end it for today, time to watch some wrestling and then The Princess and the Frog! (I love frogs!)
Over and out
