End of the season

So it's that time of year. That time when the shows I follow go in for the summer hiatus. Season finales left and right and some deliver, some...not so much.

*'*Spoilers ahead for: Supernatural, Criminal Minds, How I met your mother, The Big Bang Theory**

 

Criminal Minds usually deliver bigtime on season finales, but this year? I sort of got a "meh" feeling after watching it. Of course it was a cliffhanger, they always leave us with those, but it was a cliffhanger I didn't really care about. And how cruel isn't that? Poor girl gets kidnapped and I don't really care all that much because, well, you didn't get to know the girl. All previous cliffhangers have been about the core crew, and you care about them, you know them. So...meh. No problem surviving the summer there.

How I met your mother, well, this show should have ended by now. I am sorry, I really love the show but they are dragging it out a bit too long now. You start going "well, just fucking meet the mother already, dimwit!". I hope the next season wrap it up and they end before they drag it out too far, I had honestly hoped they would have wrapped it with this season but ah well.
The season finale was good, but it was mostly Robin carrying the entire episode I thought.

The Big Bang Theory, it didn't even feel like a season finale. I am sorry show, but you did not deliver at all.

And then we got the show of shows, Supernatural! I could write a loooong post about the season finale (I actually have, but I posted that for my fellow fangirls). This show did deliver, they delivered big time!

The season finale was all I had ever hoped for, and then some. The acting of my boys was...amazing. Jared Padalecki did a fucking amazing job with the Sam-Lucifer (Samifer!) scenes, I have always thought him a weaker actor compared to Jensen Ackles but hell...when the boy brings his A game, he really brings it! And Jensen...oh Jensen. Dean broke my heart in this episode, trust me...I cried. A lot. It left be speechless. This show is the reason that it isn't hiatus, it's hellatus! 

I know a little of what season 6 will have in store for us, and I can't wait! This was the cliffhanger of cliffhangers and, god, I loved it! I know, I am fangirling big time here, deal with it!
